WHEN IS DESERT DAZE?

Desert Daze 2021 takes place Friday, November 12 – Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Camping check-in opens Friday, November 12. Camping check-out is Monday, November 15th.  Times tba.

Set times and Box Office hours will be announced closer to the event.

WHERE IS IT AND HOW DO I GET THERE?

Desert Daze 2021 takes place on Moreno Beach at the Lake Perris State Recreation Area, nestled between the San Jacinto and San Bernardino Mountains in Riverside County.

Lake Perris is located near the 60 and 215 freeways, 1.5 hours SE of Los Angeles, CA, 1.5 hours NE of San Diego, 2.5 hours from Las Vegas, and 4 hours or less from Phoenix and most places in Southern and Central California. 

Ontario Airport (ONT) is the closest airport.  Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County are each about 1.5 to 2 hours from the site depending on traffic.

IS IT ALL AGES?

Yes. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older. 

Kids under 10 get in free.

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?

You can purchase Tickets, Camping Passes, and Add-Ons via See Tickets here.

We expect Desert Daze 2021 to sell out.  However, if we are not sold out by day of show, we will sell all ticket types that are still available at the entry gates of the event.

Please note Event Tickets, Camping Passes and Add-Ons are only being sold via desertdaze.org and See Tickets. There are no physical retailers at this time.

IS DESERT DAZE ADA ACCESSIBLE?

WHAT CAN I BRING / WHAT'S NOT ALLOWED?

Bring your ID, beautiful smile, and money for drinks, food, band/event merchandise and goods from our merchants.

-YES small backpack or bag to carry your personal items

-YES (1) factory sealed water bottle per guest are allowed in the event

– YES a 30 pack of canned beer AND (1) sealed bottle of wine OR (1) 750 ml sealed bottle of spirits are allowed in the Campgrounds ONLY

-YES (1) empty, reusable water bottle to be filled at our water station in the event

– YES pre-filled canteens, opened water bottles, sealed water bottles in the campgrounds.

-YES non-alcoholic beverages, food + snacks are allowed in the campgrounds but NOT in the event grounds

-YES comfortable shoes (closed toe shoes are encouraged)

-YES Epi-Pen in case you’re allergic to scorpions or fire ants; they have the same effects on people as bee stings

-YES hats + bandanas

-YES a bathing suit and pool floaty

-YES bug spray

-YES enclosed propane stoves with propane canisters under a gallon – campgrounds ONLY

NO Refunds or Exchanges

NO skateboards within event grounds (Campgrounds OK)

PLEASE NOTE: Medication MUST be in its original prescription bottle with your name printed on it. Individual medications MUST be bottled separately; one type of pill per bottle.

Any items that are deemed dangerous may not be admitted into the venue. This is at the discretion of Event Security.

WHAT ABOUT CANNABIS?

Can I bring marijuana to Desert Daze?

California law allows anyone 21 and over to possess up to 28.5 grams of cannabis and up to 8 grams of concentrated cannabis.

Can I smoke grass at Desert Daze?

The government wants you to keep your weed smoking private.

Can I bring my pipes, bongs, rigs, rolling papers and one-hitters?

California law permits you to possess marijuana-related drug paraphernalia in public. However, glass apparatuses, flame torches, or other large smoking devices are not permitted in the venue or campgrounds for safety reasons.

WHAT ABOUT COVID?

Desert Daze, Lake Perris State Recreation Area, and its organizers will follow the recommended health and safety guidelines put forth by the authorities. We are working closely with local and state officials to create the safest experience possible. The health and safety of our fans, staff, and artists remains our top priority.

Desert Daze will require proof of full vaccination or a negative covid test (within 72 hours) for entry.

As protocols continue to evolve rapidly regarding public gatherings, our guidance for best practices to be followed at the event are also evolving. Once final protocols are established, we will post all requirements for fans to adhere to prior to the event dates on our website.

You expressly agree to comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinance, regulations, and the rules of the Event Organizers when attending the event.

An inherent risk of exposure to Coronavirus/Covid-19 exists in any place where people gather. Coronavirus/Covid-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By purchasing a ticket, you assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting Coronavirus/Covid-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, however caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against the State, the Event Organizers, and their affiliated companies relating to such risks.

By attending this show, you acknowledge that Desert Daze or Lake Perris cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. You understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and others.

CAN I BRING MY EMOTIONAL SUPPORT PEACOCK?

SERVICE ANIMALS
Service animals are permitted throughout the festival grounds, excluding emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals.

  • All service animals must remain by the handler’s side at all times and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
  • Service animals must be housebroken and should use the service animal relief area.
  • You will be responsible for and liable for any damage or injury caused by your animal.
  • All animals should have legally required vaccinations.

Pets are not allowed and will be turned away.

DOES MY TICKET COME WITH A CAMPING PASS?

ONLY the 3-SHOW GA + CAMPING PASS BUNDLE comes with Camping. 

You will need to purchase a CAMPING PASS if you would like to camp with a 3-SHOW VIP/GA, or SINGLE DAY VIP/GA ticket type.

Every single person who wishes to camp needs a CAMPING PASS.

Camping is sold as a 3 night pass regardless of whether you camp for all three nights.

A CAMPING PASS on its own will not grant you entry to the event.  You will also need SINGLE DAY GA/VIP TICKET or  3-SHOW GA/ VIP PASS.

Unless you or someone in your group purchases a CAR CAMPING VEHICLE PASS, RV CAMPING VEHICLE PASS, or DELUXE RV RENTAL, you will also need to purchase a WEEKEND PARKING PASS.

CAR CAMPING VEHICLE PASSES are good for one vehicle. Every person arriving in that car will need a Camping Pass, including the driver.

RV CAMPING VEHICLES PASSES are good for one vehicle. Every person camping inside the RV needs a Camping Pass, including the driver.

DELUXE RV RENTALS come with 1 x CAR CAMPING VEHICLE PASS so you can park near your RV.  However, everyone camping inside of a DELUXE RV RENTAL will also need a camping pass and event ticket.

DOES MY TICKET COME WITH A PARKING PASS?

Parking is NOT included. Parking Passes must be purchased separately.

If you are bringing your car to Desert Daze, you will need one of the following passes:

  • PREFERRED WEEKEND or SINGLE DAY PARKING PASS allows you to park for the weekend or the single day closest to the event entrance, outside of the campgrounds.
  • REGULAR WEEKEND or SINGLE DAY PARKING PASS – Park for the weekend or a single day, outside of the campgrounds. This is general event parking for non-campers and campers who will be carting their gear into the campgrounds.
  • CAR CAMPING VEHICLE PASS – Park your car in the campgrounds.  Every person arriving in your car will need a Camping Pass and an event ticket, including the driver.
  • RV CAMPING VEHICLE PASS – Park your RV in RV parking, including power and water hook ups.  Every person camping inside the RV needs a Camping Pass and an event ticket, including the driver.

If you are purchasing a 3-SHOW GA + CAMPING BUNDLE and would like to car camp, you will also need to purchase a CAR CAMPING VEHICLE PASS.

VIP comes with:

CAN I BUY NOW AND PAY LATER?

Enrollment for payment plans has ended.

CAN I UPGRADE OR EXCHANGE MY TICKETS?

Upgrades from GA to VIP, or Regular to Preferred Parking, are allowed. Contact See Tickets to facilitate securing your desired ticket type.

Exchanges of equal value are allowed, pending available inventory. Downgrades where the price of your desired ticket type is lower than your current ticket type is not allowed.

ARE THERE INS & OUTS?

Our Ins & Outs policy varies by pass type.

SINGLE DAY GA / VIP TICKETS: No Ins and Outs.  Once you are in the event, you are in. If you leave you cannot return without purchasing another ticket.

3-SHOW GA / VIP PASS: You may go in and out if you have to get something out of your car.

3-SHOW GA + CAMPING BUNDLE: You may go back and forth between the campgrounds and the event throughout the day and night.

CAMPING PASS: You may go back and forth between the campgrounds and the event throughout the day and night. Single Day Ticket holders may purchase a Camping Pass, HOWEVER Single Day Ticket holders have a strict No Ins and Outs rule, so once a Single Day Ticket holder has exited the event to go to the campgrounds, they will not be able to re-enter the event.

CAR CAMPING + RV VEHICLE PASSES: You may not exit camping with your vehicle until Monday morning.  If you will need to exit sooner, please make arrangements with Camping Check In upon arrival.  **Please note there is a vehicle lock down in the campgrounds between 10pm and 6am for guest safety.

CAN I BUY PASSES FROM SOMEONE RESELLING THEM?

The safest bet is to purchase your tickets directly from See Tickets.

You can’t be certain you are purchasing a valid ticket unless the person from whom you are purchasing your ticket logs in to their See Tickets account and adds your name and email address to their ticket.  You should then receive a confirmation email from See Tickets.

If this does not happen, you should question the validity of this ticket.  Fake tickets will not scan and you will not be able to enter the event.

WHAT IS YOUR TICKET REFUND POLICY?

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable. Lineup and daily schedules are subject to change. Artist cancellation is not grounds for refund.

WHY ARE THERE SERVICE FEES?

All online orders are subject to a service fee which allows us to best process and service your tickets. The fee includes, but is not limited to, maintaining and processing ticket orders, account maintenance, customer service staffing and labor, wristband production, fulfillment labor, and credit card processing fees.    

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TIER 1, TIER 2, TIER 3, AND DOS?

There is no difference between Tiers except for price. Each tier is only available while supplies last. Buy passes early for a lower price.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

If you are bringing a car to site, you will have to purchase some type of parking either in advance or at the gate.

Good for one RV. Every person in the RV will need a Camping Pass and event ticket, including the driver.

Once you’ve purchased your parking pass in advance, take a screen screen shot of the prepaid parking pass so it can be scanned on arrival.

 

 

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR OVERNIGHT?

Only tent campers with GA or Preferred Parking passes may leave their cars overnight.

If for some reason you will need to leave your car overnight but you are not camping, please make an arrangement with the parking kiosk upon arrival.

CAN I DRIVE IN AND OUT AFTER I HAVE ARRIVED?

No.  We ask that once you are parked, you do not leave again until you are leaving for the day.

In case of an emergency, please see guest services or parking staff to arrange otherwise.

HOW CAN I FIND A RIDE TO THE SHOW?

Post in our Desert Daze Rideshare Group and find someone to fill that empty seat in your car, or get yourself a ride to the event and meet some fellow Dazers.

CAN I UBER OR LYFT TO THE EVENT? CAN I GET DROPPED OFF?

Yes. We have designated vehicle pick up and drop off areas.

CAMPING

WHO CAN ENTER THE CAMPGROUNDS?

Any guest with a 3-SHOW GA or VIP PASS and a CAMPING PASS will be permitted to go back and forth between the campgrounds and the event throughout the day and night.

Every individual entering the campgrounds must have their own Camping Pass. Camping passes are not shared.

Single Day Ticket holders may purchase a Camping Pass, HOWEVER Single Day Ticket holders have a strict No Ins and Outs rule, so once a Single Day Ticket holder has exited the event to go to the campgrounds, they will not be able to re-enter the event.

WHEN IS CAMPING CHECK IN?

Camping check-in is Friday, November 12th.

Camping Check-in hours will be posted in advance of the event.

ARE THERE SHOWERS AND BATHROOMS IN THE CAMPGROUNDS?

Yes! There are real hot showers and brick and mortar restrooms throughout the campgrounds with running water, flushing toilets, sinks, hand dryers and more, free for all to use.

CAN I SAVE A SPOT FOR MY FRIENDS TO CAMP NEXT TO ME?

No. Campsites are first come first served, and will be filled in order of arrival.  Early arrival is recommended. If you would like to camp next to friends, plan to arrive together.

CAN I DRIVE MY CAR INTO THE CAMPGROUNDS TO DROP OFF MY STUFF?

You can only drive into the campgrounds if you have a CAR CAMPING VEHICLE PASS or RV CAMPING VEHICLE PASS.

Otherwise you will park in a GA lot and walk your gear in.  We encourage you to bring wagons and backpacks to make it easier!

The campgrounds are a 5 to 10 minute walk from GA parking.

CAN I PARK MY CAR AT MY CAMPSITE?

If you’d like to park in the campgrounds near your campsite, you will need to purchase a CAR CAMPING VEHICLE PASS in addition to your CAMPING PASS to get into the Campgrounds.  The Car Camping Vehicle Pass is not a Camping or Event Ticket. 

Car Camping Vehicle spots are assigned on a first come first served basis. Everyone camping needs a Camping Pass – this applies to both driver and passengers.

Limit 6 people per car camping site.

RV CAMPING

You will need an RV CAMPING VEHICLE PASS to bring your RV to Desert Daze. Power and Water hookups are available for all RVs. A grey water dumping station is available as you exit the campgrounds.

Please note: everyone camping in your RV will need a CAMPING PASS to get into the campgrounds, including the driver. The RV Camping Vehicle Pass is not a camping or event ticket.

Limit 10 campers per RV site.  

There will be room next to your RV to park a car if you are pulling a trailer.

Your vehicle is considered an RV and you will need to purchase an RV CAMPING VEHICLE PASS if:

  • It has a water hookup
  • It is a bus of any size
  • It is an RV, mobile home, or trailer

Vans and trucks are considered cars and will need Car Camping Vehicle Passes.

CAN I RENT AN RV?

Yes!  Live your best life in your own Deluxe RV complete with all the conveniences of home.  We offer the following RV rentals while supplies last:

Please note: Deluxe RV Rentals are Add-Ons. They do not include entry to the event or camping. Every person camping in an RV rental needs a Camping Pass and an event ticket.

CAN I SWIM IN THE LAKE?

Yes!  You may swim in the lake during specified hours which will be posted at the event.

CAN I ACCESS THE REST OF THE PARK DURING THE FESTIVAL?

Yes!  Please take advantage of all the camping trails, sights, and sounds of this beautiful place while you are here.

IS THERE A MEDICAL TENT?

Medical tents will be located throughout both the event grounds as well as in the campgrounds.

WILL MY CELL PHONE HAVE SERVICE ON SITE?

We are working with service providers to boost signal as much as possible in the area.

Make sure to download, print, or take a screenshot of your passes, including parking before you arrive.  Cellular signal at the entry kiosks may not be strong.
